Re: Could you please help me reverse the volume?
this ;version 4 (mult 10 (hp *track* 20000)) didn't work. Looking at this: https://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file.php?id=30233 it clearly did work. It may not have done what you wanted it to do, but it does what it was designed to do. I want to reverse the sound in dB where the first one look...

Re: Lost audio ! HELP! Maybe can recover?
If you have both parts of the project (the AUP file and the _data folder), then: 1. Launch Audacity 2. From the "File" menu, select "Open" and select the (AUP) project file. The project should then open. 3. "File menu > Export > Export as MP3". See here for a descriptio...

Re: Checking for "fake" FLAC files
As we're not even clear as to what the commenter was trying to say, I don't want to speculate.
A lot of people make dubious claims regarding sound quality, but at the end of the day the only thing that concerns me is whether I enjoy listening to the music.

Re: Checking for "fake" FLAC files
Is there a way with Audacity to know how true or false this claim might be? Probably not. They appear to be basing their claim on the fact that the audio bandwidth only goes up to 17000 Hz, whereas FLAC files are capable of reproducing frequencies over 21000 Hz. However, there are many reasons that...

Re: Lost audio ! HELP! Maybe can recover?
There are two parts to an Audacity project. There's an "AUP" file (Audacity project file), and there's a "_data" folder. The "_data" folder contains the audio data. The "AUP" file tells Audacity how to assemble the audio data to recreate the project. More deta...

Re: Checking for "fake" FLAC files
Posted this on IRC but I think it's a slow day. If you mean #audacity on IRC, I don't think anyone uses that any more. If you saw it advertised in our documentation, please tell us where, so that we can remove it. The support channel for Audacity is here (this forum). I think possibly they were try...
