Re: Can I begin recording with a hotkey?

Perhaps you could "Alt+Tab" to switch to Audacity, the "R" to start recording, the "Alt+Tab" to switch back to your game? Computer games are often very demanding on computer resources and Audacity will not be able to work if the computer is working flat out to run the g...

Re: Recording through Keyboard/Piano

Strange thing too, that the level of FM modulation does not seem to vary significantly

Re: Recording With 2 Yeti Mics, And Adding Sound Effects

So the main question is how to use the virtual audio cable to both combine the mics and to allow sound effects played on the computer to also be picked up by audacity, all in the single track. As you say, your question is primarily about using Virtual Audio Cable, so they should be in a much better...

Re: Improving the "Change Pitch..." module

Given that we have the technology for higher quality pitch stretching ( SBSMS , but only use it in the relatively complex "Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift" effect, I think this topic could be seen as a request for an option to use the SBSMS in the simpler "Change Pitch" effect. ...

Thanks wc. Just transferred to Wik for now. I may write a proposal later.
The forum topic title is perhaps a bit "abstract". The first post contains the "concrete" feature request(s).

Re: Decibel slider to also show %

Amplify by percent is now available as a plug-in.
