Re: Paste/mix
Example 1: You mentioned this recipe here (http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=77467) but I can't get it to work. Perhaps you could clarify in that topic. We use "regular interval labels" to mark the beginning of every bar in some track. There is another plug-in, simila...

Re: wow & flutter spectrum analysis
These are my test results. The first value will be a bit off because it starts with a partial cycle. Testing know frequency signals at around 3129 Hz I'm getting results that are within +/- 0.15 Hz average over periods of around 0.24 seconds (750 cycles). The results can be imported into Audacity as...

Re: Hum removal
Here is the algorythm: 1) make 2 duplicates of the sound file. 2) invert the data of 1st copy. 3) cut the low frequencies (main hum frequency) with notch filter or parametric EQ filter of the 2nd copy. 4) mix & render the both copies, now we have the hum sound + some "useful" low freq...
Re: Paste/mix
Paste Mix and Crossfade Mix are existing "feature requests". I can add vpd's vote for those and johntheblade's vote for Paste Mix. Unlike Steve, I would regard those features as a time saver, rather than "primitive". I see that "Paste and Crossfade" can be a time saver...

Re: wow & flutter spectrum analysis
The first thing that I notice is that the frequency is not 3000 Hz, more like 3180 Hz, so if that is a 3 kHz test tone then your turntable is running a bit fast.
I don't know what the wiggle is in your final waveform. Was that produced with Robert's code?

Re: Sound sliding
Is there a way to slide a sound in from the entry point to the left on the track time table. Try describing that with more words. What are you trying to achieve? Also what is it with all those error messages What error messages? What do they say? Please remember that we can't see over your shoulder...

Re: USB Interface - Best Quality Recordings
I need to work in WASAP shared mode. Currently Audacity only supports WASAPI for "loopback" recording (http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/device_toolbar.html#host). If you are planning to "overdub" recording you should will be best to use a device that provides "zero late...

Re: Copy and paste entire track?
Yes you can do that. I presume that you tried it and it didn't work for you? Ensure that you have the same number of tracks selected, and that they are of the same kind in the project that you are pasting to as you have copied from (mono tracks must be pasted in mono tracks etc.) If you just want a ...
