Re: Regular Interval Region Labels
If we disregard option 2a-i (for now at least) then the remaining 4 options could be defined with 2 multi-choice controls: Placement method: >> Number of labels Label interval Interval specified as: >> Exact size Maximum size Approximation. Does that make sense and is it simple enough? If not, any o...

Is that true or is it a lost cause You may be able to get slightly better results with careful tweaking and experimenting with the parameters, but basically it is probably a lost cause. The workmen are actors in yo...

Re: Regular Interval Region Labels
Should the "Final label" only be added if there is audio outside the selection being labelled and that final label maintains the "regular interval"? Isn't that the use case for a "Final label"? I believe that is the case. In other words, it expresses the distinction be...

Re: Regular Interval Region Labels
How about we start from the top, design the essential features and see where that leaves us. The primary purpose is to generate a series of labels at regular intervals. There are a number of ways to specify where the labels go: An exact number of labels that fit the selected audio. Example: Split th...

Re: continuously adding labels
The way that I would do it would be to use "point labels".
Point labels can be expanded to region labels after you stop playback if you wish.
Point labels can be placed during playback with Ctrl+M (optional: type in label text) then press "Enter" to close the label.
