Re: Track Labels/Metadata issues
is there any way to get the artist metadata (all various artists) to be retained after export? It works for me, though there's no guarantee that other applications will show that metadata - there is a lot of variation in metadata support from one app to another. Try importing this file into Audacit...

Re: classical guitar
Your description sounds like you are doing the right things. Perhaps you could post a couple of short samples - about 10 seconds each in WAV format (see: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=72887) One of the samples being an unprocessed recording - no effects at all. The other sa...

Re: Audio and Saving
But I just can't see with Audacity, when I save a project, where the audio files are stored??? When you save an Audacity project, a " ProjectName .aup" file and a " ProjectName _data" folder are created (where " ProjectName " is the name of the project). The audio data...

Re: Hearing other person on therapy recording session
Is there a certain feature within Audacity that I should have enable or selected in the drop down menus to enhance the recording on the other end of the call? No there isn't. The problem is that Audacity is designed to record from one thing at a time, but you want to record two things (your microph...

Re: Free Tape Model VST plugin
Is it any good?
(It's strange how we used to take so much time and effort trying to overcome the limitations of tape, and now there's a plug-in to do the opposite

Re: No plug in folder
What sort of plug-in? The installation instructions depend on the type of plug-in. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/ins ... _os_x.htmlhelpme11111 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 9:10 amI am currently running macOS Big Sur (11.1). I have downloaded audacity and wanted to add plugins,

Re: Catalina microphone issue with Audacity
I have not yet received an explanation as to why my Right audio is still coming in much quieter than my Left audio when I record via iMic system. This is one of the reasons why we much prefer each new question in a new topic. If you post in an existing topic, it either detracts attention away from ...

Re: Help! Can't pinpoint this sound
Try making another test recording (just like your audio sample), but this time, half way through the recording, turn down the "gain" on the mixer for both mics (all the way down). We would expect the "hiss" noise level in the recording to go down half way through the recording. D...
