When all else fails, try the manual ;) : http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ke ... rence.html
Add Label at Playback Position CTRL + M (Mac: COMMAND + . )
Creates a new, empty label at the current playback or recording position.

Re: Help with auto duck please?

That can be done now by using an intermediary track. Generate a tone in a new track, and place it above the beat track. Apply Autoduck to the tone track. Then place your synth track above the tone track - adjust the "threshold" level in Autoduck so that it picks up the changes in the tone ...

Re: Circuit to connect PC Headset to USB Audiointerface

Hmm, I do not quite understand that, I thought that increasing the value on the resistor would decrease voltage for the mic capsule goes? I would imagine the output level going lower when I increase the resistor then. But I really have no idea :) http://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file.php?id=5...

True, but the ones that are generally included in PCs as standard are usually pretty bad for recording.

Re: Music In My Recording

You will need to describe your setup in detail.
Where is that music playing?
What equipment are you using and how is it all connected?
What settings in Audacity?
What settings in the Windows Sound Control Panel?

What happens if you e-mail the MP3 to yourself? Do you receive the MP3?
Many e-mail services will have a maximum allowed size for attachments. How big is the MP3 that you are trying to send?
