Re: Wrong song is exporting

This particular project is straight forward. I imported song 1, then song 2. I keep all of song 1 followed by song 2 (cut shorter) to make one long song. I listen and it is exactly how I need it to be. I export as normal. I assign a custom file name and custom metadata (all blank except own title a...

Re: Jack Audio Integration could be better (Linux)

I agree. However, it's probably not easy to "fix" and there are very few Linux developers working on Audacity. To work around the problem, use the device toolbar to select the connections. If you add any new ports (open another program), use "Transport menu > Rescan Audio Devices"...

Re: Fledgling voice artist seeking counsel.

Since ACX says "all mono" or "all stereo" do you think I ought to use the pseudo? Any of you have a preference when it comes to audio books? Short answer. Mono. Slightly longer answer: As the final show will be 192 kbps MP3 format, mono will sound virtually identical to the WAV ...

Re: inconsistencies with mp3s between 32 and 64 bit Win 7 Ul

Re: automatic audio music

Re: "MP3 export library not found"

For Audacity, Lame needs to be built with all of the necessary "hooks". Builds that do not have these will not be recognised by Audacity.
Try using the Lame installer as described here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... .html#lame

Re: Clear the envelope curve in a selection/track

This used to work in old times. Can't check it myself 'cos I'm blind. Yes that still works, though the fact that it works is arguably a bug ;) A couple of points to note about that: 1) It can be a bit slow for very long tracks because it will read, then rewrite the track (but if there are more than...
