Re: Amplitude Modulation
I guess this code here looks far better than my first one: imo, that code is much easier to read. I can immediately see that you are creating a "mod-wave" that is a "rectified" sine wave (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rectifier#Full-wave_rectification), and that you then multiply...

Re: Bass Boost effect
If it happens again, please write down the exact error message and let us know. That may give some indication of what is going wrong.lodaxstax wrote: I keep shuffling between equalization and multiband EQ. the software shows error and closes when I am working on the latter

Re: Bass Boost effect
Also I noticed whenever I am using Multiband EQ, the software becomes unstable and crashes. It has never happened before with Audacity so maybe if somebody could address that. I've had a look at the code and tested the effect. There are a couple of "peculiarities" in the code, but I don't...

Re: Bass Boost effect
This is the plug in I am talking about.keeps crashing the software. OK, thanks, I'll take a look. When you apply uniform gain or amplify the bass frequencies the higher frequencies in 150-200 Hz range usually go so deep that they spoil the whole song with extreme humming and over powering all else ...

Re: Bass Boost effect
There was another suggestion I wanted to make thus using separate post. It would be best if you start a new topic for that, so that it gets the attention it deserves, As you are suggesting a new feature I'd suggest that you post it in this part of the forum: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewforum....

Re: Bass Boost effect
Also I noticed whenever I am using Multiband EQ, the software becomes unstable and crashes. Do you mean the "Equalization" effect (http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/equalization.html)? I presume that you are using Audacity 2.0.5. Is that correct? (look in "Help > About Audacity&qu...

Re: Amplitude Modulation
Just opened the .ny file with Notepad++, picked LISP language and it's far more handy :) Good, I thought you would like it ;) For "normal" modulation, you would want the modulation wave to peak at +1 As the Nyquist oscillators, by default, go between +/- 1.0, a suitable modulation wavefor...

Re: Import and Export Folders
how do i export recorded music from audacity to an external drive and how do i export recorded songs from Audacity to itunes? Writing to an external drive is often less reliable than writing to an internal drive, so I would recommend writing to your normal hard drive, then copying (or moving) the f...

Re: Bass Boost effect
Bass Boost was upgraded to "Bass and Treble" for several reasons, including; a bug that could cause irreparable clipping distortion of the processed audio, some users wanted to be able to reduce the bass (not possible in the old effect), some users wanted to boost the treble (not possible ...

Re: local manual link not working
not another ad campaign to get me to increase Microsoft's profits by moving to yet another version of windows. I don't think anyone suggested that did they? There are plenty of alternatives if you want to use a safe and secure operating system that does not swell Microsoft's profits: http://distrow...
