Do your old, very large Flac files play correctly to the end?
I rarely use Windows, but I was not aware of any version of Audacity supporting Flac files greater than 2 GB. "MediaInfo" may provide the answer to this mystery.

You will not be able to make the sendspace file sound exactly the same as the YouTube voice. The best you can expect is to make it fit a little better. if you're reasonably sure that building it on MSVC w/64bit extensions will fix it I'm not saying that (just) building with 64 bit extensions will fix the problem, but rather the reverse of that - that 32 bit has an address size of just over 4 billion, so the maximum number of samples that Flac can ...
