Re: Samson C01u and Yamaha audiogram 3
I am using it correctly, but still get hissing noises. Please post a short audio sample to demonstrate the problem. We may be able to identify where the problem lies if we can see/hear it. The audio sample should be about 5 seconds long and include a few seconds of "silence" (noise only) ...

Re: How to only select one stereo part (left or right)?
You need to "split" the stereo track into separate left and right channels. The channels can be "stuck back together again" after you have completed your changes. See here in the manual for how to split (and rejoin) the channels: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/splitting_and...

Re: Which audio mixer to use?
Okay. So the scenario would be I would have some mates over my house. It would probably be 4 people (including myself) at any one time so I need to be able to record 4 channels simultaneously on Audacity. We would all have headsets or microphones or whatever and be playing either a local game on a ...

Re: Increasing New Audio Length
then I go to Generate>Tone to create my binaural beat. It works great but the problem is I cant figure out a way to make them longer than the default 25 seconds? The default for "Generate > Tone" is 30 seconds. To generate a longer tone, type in a longer duration in the "Duration&quo...

Re: Samson C01u and Yamaha audiogram 3
it doesn't look like there's a slot to connect the USB Samson c01u to the yamaha audiogram 3. Is this right? Yes that is correct. USB microphones are "all in one" devices - they include their own mic pre-amp, analog to digital converter, and USB interface to the computer. You can't use th...

Re: Adjust recording amplitude? How?
If you've not done so already, look in the Windows Sound Control Panel at the recording level for your device, and ensure that all sound system "Enhancements" are turned off.
