Re: Click & pop hunting tips needed

Another vote for Spectrogram track view.

This is a track I've been working on recently. You can clearly see a click in the left (upper) channel, indicated by the red vertical line:

Re: Saved and not exported :/

it was saved in a folder in possibly a billion different audio clips in 3 different folders within the main saved folder. That is the project data. When you "save a project", Audacity creates a "project file" that has an "AUP" file extension, and a data folder. For exa...

Re: What am I doing wrong?

How do I stop and resume recording without this problem? There are several options. Use whichever is more convenient. 1) Press the "Pause" button to pause the recording (or the "P" key on your keyboard), then again to resume recording. Note that most other commands are disabled ...

Re: Syncing Variable Speed Audio

I don't know if this will help, but you may find it a bit easier with this plug-in effect: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=172749#p172749 It is much like "Change Speed" but you can specify the desired duration rather than having to guess the percentage. To install Nyquist plu...

Re: When I click to monitor input level, only input on left?

The focusrite has two independent channels, so for recording a mic that is plugged into channel 1, that looks correct. If you record that into Audacity with the "channels" set to "1 (mono) Input Channel" (as in your screenshot), that should record the left channel of your focusri...

Re: Syncing Variable Speed Audio

When doing it manually, I would just observe the waves of the audio thats running at proper speed and look for any uniquely distinguishable visible part (like an audio spike for instance). Then I would speed up/slow down the broken audio so that the distinguishing feature is in line with the other ...
