Re: How to convolve two sounds?
Audacity passes sound from the selected audio track as the global variable "S" (may be "s" or "S", Nyquist is not case-sensitive). If there is more than one track selected, Audacity passes the first selected track to Nyquist, then the next track, then the next... So Nyq...

Re: Getting distortion on audio recording - guitar and vocal

Re: Fuzzy audio after starting Audacity
there was a brief hesitation in the playback during the splash screen, That is to be expected because Audacity (or to be more precise, "PortAudio") is looking to see what audio devices are available. However the disturbance should not last more than a few moments. It sounds to me like the...

To create a file that can be used in other programs you need to "Export" the song.
See here for details: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ex ... audio.html
For support with SAM 422, please consult their web site.

If you only selected audio it wouldn't matter. Either setting will work.Gale Andrews wrote:If I had only selected audio I might be struggling to understand what that meant.
In context it may be more obvious, or perhaps with a Help button (if they're working now).

Re: ASIO Multi Client Wrapper
I was just wondering if it was a non-ASIO device that you could use Virtual Audio Cable or similar to duplicate the inputs of the single device and work round the application exclusivity that way. Apparently that is possible , but perhaps not very reliable. I've not tried that myself but I hear tha...

"Multi Client Wrapper" is the other way round - it allows multiple applications to access one device.Gale Andrews wrote: You can actually aggregate non-ASIO devices in the ASIO4ALL control panel, as I understand it.
