Re: Freeze when using USB mouse and keyboard

Re: Audio sounds....strange with a blue yeti and ASUS sound

Thanks for the links - they work now ;) As I suspected, the problem is that the original recording has far too much noise. Noise Removal cannot work miracles - ask too much from it and it will damage the sound that you want to keep. That "damage" is responsible for the "strange" ...

Re: How do I set Audacity to meet exact requirements?

Replay Gain is particularly handy. If you're referring to this plug-in http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=167758#p167758 please note that it is "experimental". User feedback regarding success/failure with that plug-in is very useful (also applies to user feedback regarding all ...

Re: Is there a way to convert a song into 8 bit?

You can convert a song to 8 bit easily enough, but it probably won't sound like the old nintendo/gameboy music. To convert to 8 bit, select "Other uncompressed files" as the file type in the Export dialog (http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/file_export_dialog.html) then click on the &quo...
