Re: LOST RECORDING
Could there be a case for an option for automatic backups after 'N' number of edits? (Where "N" is a fairly high number by default (so as to not be a nuisance with quick and easy projects), but configurable in preferences.)

Re: LOST RECORDING
Why doesn't Audacity just use the recycle bin for all cases where possible? When closing a project, there could be tens or even hundreds of GB of temporary data to be deleted. Re: Is There a SEARCH Function for the Manual?
Yes, it's very clear - when the track is deleted, it isn't there.rabbithutch wrote: Is there any way to tell if it really is deleted?

Re: Is There a SEARCH Function for the Manual?

Not quite, but there is a load of invalid data at the start of the file.Gale Andrews wrote: The bad news is that the AUTOSAVE files you posted are just nulls (zero data).
As Gale wrote, unfortunately the file is irretrievably corrupt.

Re: Is There a Print Friendly Way to Print Tutorials?
Individual pages can be printed from most web browsers. "File menu > Print" "Open Office" (https://www.openoffice.org/) or "Libre Office" (http://www.libreoffice.org/) do a pretty good job opening html files, though some of the special formatting may not render correctl...
