Re: Tempo of the click-track
A very accurate way to determine the tempo of a click track, or a drum track, is to select an exact number of beats. Here I have selected exactly 9 full bars of a 4/4 click track, so that is 36 beats. time.png As you can see in the Section Toolbar at the bottom, the length is 16.364 seconds. To work...

That refers to the long obsolete 1.2.x versions of Audacity.Deece wrote: And all the boards I've read have said select "Preferences" on Audacity and Audio I/O option,

Re: How to make volume peaks equal?
The easiest way to adjust the left/right balance is to use the track "pan" slider. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/au ... s.html#pan

Re: User Control Option to Subscribe to Threads One Starts
And there is still the point that Avatars can't display computer info, recording interface, mic and so on, all of which could be in a signature. We could use both an "OS Avatar" (for all registered and newly registered users) and signatures for "frequent users" (a new group that...

Re: User Control Option to Subscribe to Threads One Starts
Do you know the exact way to do that? Yes, easy, but I'm just on my way out. It falls short of giving Audacity version information, but the advice for all is "use the current version" (for Linux "currently available"). And what if users are on more than one OS? I'm on six OS'es....

Re: User Control Option to Subscribe to Threads One Starts

Re: Using digital keyboard to record multiple instruments vo
We can't really recommend specific hardware - there is a huge range to choose from and many competing manufacturers. I would say, don't bother with anything under about $30 because it is probably not very good. I use a Behringer UCA 202, which costs around $30 - It is very basic - few features, just...
