Re: saving
whenever I try to save it says: No it doesn't. There is a subtle difference that must not be missed. "Saving" in Audacity saves an "Audacity Project". Saving an Audacity project does not require LAME. An Audacity project can only be opened by Audacity - it is not a normal audio ...

Re: tracks loading as hot

Re: Cut button not working, worked y'sterday......
The scissors button is supposed to work the same as the "Cut" command in the Edit menu (with the exception that it does not do the "select all audio if none selected" thing. As far as I'm aware, both Cut and the scissors work correctly (as designed and as described in the manual ...

Re: Can no longer import MP4 files into Aucacity
Do you have any old MP4 files that previously imported OK? If so, does Audacity still import them OK? If so, then what is the difference between your old MP4 files and your new MP4 files? (MediaInfo may answer that final question).

Cut Preview (shortcut key "C") should work, but you need to select the white-space (empty area).cpsmusic wrote:I've tried using Cut Preview but this only seems to work for individual clips.

Re: Feature request: Moving tracks
Is there a Feature Request emerging here - or a proposal forthcoming? I think the FR is described in the first post. The OP wants an easier way to change the order of tracks. Gale and myself have voiced agreement, so that is at least 3 votes. The new "Move Track to Top/Bottom" options in ...
