Re: Bandpass filter
You can create bandpass filtering by applying both a highpass and a lowpass filter.
For example, if you wish to pass the frequency band between 400 Hz and 4000 Hz, then apply a highpass filter at 400 Hz, then a lowpass filter at 4000 Hz.

Re: Permanently Delete Selection
That does not make sense. When I delete part of a track, it is gone, so we're going to need details: I have cut the last minute or so from my project. How exactly did you do that? Walk us through the process step be step so that we can reproduce what you are seeing. When I listen back Playing back i...

Re: Who reorganized the forum?
Depends what it is that you want to post, but in some cases it may be appropriate to post a brief summary and a link to the topic in the other forum.Paul L wrote:Is there a way we users can cross post in more than one relevant forum without just duplicating?

Re: Export to Mono AAC
Even though it's not best practice to compress an already compressed audio file in a different codec I don't think that it actually makes much difference if you use the same or a different codec. Encoding in a lossy format always loses some sound quality. Re-encoding in a lossy format always reduce...

Re: Who reorganized the forum?
Glad you like it :) Obviously it is early days yet for these new sections to the forum, so we can modify them later if we wish to. It is much easier to merge forum boards than to split them, so I think I'd prefer to keep the two separate for now, but we can see how they go and the option of merging ...

Re: Pitch Shifting with changing the temp/speed
but IDk why minez is not working Please use English words, it makes it much easier to read ;) Resampling will change both the pitch and the speed - in effect you are just playing the audio faster or slower. In the "Change Pitch" effect, Audacity performs "time stretching" using ...

Re: Skipping Areas Between Clips?
It's working correctly on my machine.
What sort of Mac are you on?
Which version of OS X?
Which (exact) version of Audacity (look in "Audacity > About Audacity" for the full version number).
