That's exactly what I did, but the effect was not listed in the Effect menu (though that works for other VST effects).Gale Andrews wrote: I just set Audacity to rescan VST effects, dropped "DynamicAudioNormalizerVST.dll" in the Audacity "Plug-Ins" folder and restarted Audacity.

Re: Importing Files
Can't you just add all the files to your CD compilation in your CD burning software?
I'm unsure why you need to use Audacity in this process.

Re: My voice is automatically autotuned?
I expect that is something that many users would like, but Audacity can't do that.
Perhaps your sound card drivers are applying some effect(s) or it could be Windows "Enhancements" (see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... hancements)

Re: Wav file is static
Actually I would say that there are no "normal" and "abnormal" WAVE files. By far the most common type of WAV file is "signed 16 bit PCM". As it is far more common than other types of WAV, I don't think it is unreasonable, when describing in layman's terms, to refer to...

Re: Preview button in Nyquist effects
The mp3 above should show the actual procedure. Each time a pseudo-chirp is played, that's the preview (alt-v) I guessed that was happening but found it very difficult to follow the screen reader at that speed - I guess it takes practice. It would be nice if there were a special variable "*pre...

Sorry I don't speak Portuguese.
There is a series of articles (in English) that describe how to do "overdub" recording here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tu ... rdubs.html

Re: Audacity crash recording live audio second track
Ensure that in the Transport menu, "Overdub" is enabled and "Software Playthrough" is disabled. In the device toolbar , try setting the recording input and playback output setting to the hardware devices that you are using (the "hw" options). Note that for the "hw&...

Re: Making loud screams so that they aren't unbearable
To sum this up rather quickly, I do videos on the youtube thing and play a bunch of horror games/games that kinda make me angry and can get pretty loud in the process If the screams have got so loud that they distort, then you've blown it. You need to set the recording level low enough to handle th...
