Re: generating 500hz tone at 1000 hz sample rate doesn't wor
The Square Wave choice in Generate > Tone works at half the sample rate in terms of being audible, though the waveform looks untypical of a square wave. and "Square (no alias)" produces silence. To see why, look at the starting point of the waveform when generating a tone well below the N...

Re: Auto Duck?
I would envisage it as an Examples page for that effect in the Manual. I was thinking more of a general description about "ducking" and "auto-ducking", what they are, why they are used, how it is done (not software specific - often it is done in hardware). I get the impression t...

Re: HTML Manual for 2.0.6

Re: generating 500hz tone at 1000 hz sample rate doesn't wor
Here's a curiosity for you: Set the Project Rate to 1000 Hz. Add a new track. Select part of the track. Open the "Nyquist Prompt" effect (Effect menu). Enter the following code into the Nyquist Prompt text box and click the OK button: (setq phase 90) (osc (hz-to-step 500) 1 *sine-table* ph...

Re: Sound effect file creation, multi channel HELP
AFter I have mixed the 5 inputs into 5 Channels - Burning a multichannel disk is doable? I'd guess so, but I've no idea how to do that (Audacity does not burn disks). I'd guess that it would need to be some sort of DVD. You also need a player that is capable of playing the disk. Audacity does not h...
