Yes, you could describe the issue with more words so as to give enough detail for us to know what you are asking.

Re: Display label count

Label track info sounds like a good enhancement. +1 Perhaps more than necessary, but to go the whole hog: Number of characters in the label text. This could be useful for VIPs to quickly check if they have numbered all of the labels. Number of labels without text (empty labels). An alternative to (1...

Of course the downside would be:

You're in a tight spot, the enemy are all around and closing in. Quickly you grab a mortar and launch it, but the mortar does not fire!!! Audacity does something instead. (How annoying  )

Re: Multiple commands in chain

I wanted the amplification step afterward to increase the loudness on both as much as much as possible without introducing any clipping. That is exactly what Normalizing to 0 dB does. Note that "lossy" compressed formats (such as MP3, WMA, AC3, ...) are "inexact", so even if the...

Re: Silent Subliminal Recording

The settings are different from the ones that I have read about, most of the places that I looked at on the internet That particular code provides a close approximation to Lowrey's method. There are many other ways to implement the same (or similar) technique. If you care to search the forum, there...

Re: generating 500hz tone at 1000 hz sample rate doesn't wor

That being the case, we should make it easier for them by exporting to where the temp file comes from. ;) +1 I recall that this was discussed several years ago in relation to Ardour (DAW). If I recall correctly, one of the Ardour developers was involved in the conversation and very much in favour. ...

Re: Splitting/inserting/Merging

Yes you "can" merge the tracks, but with 160 minutes it will be quite slow, and the major disadvantage is that, once merged, they can't be "un-merged", so if you make any mistakes, you can't go back and adjust that bit. Personally, what I'd do is to split the 160 minutes into two...

Re: Multiple commands in chain

01 NotchFilter, 02 Normalize, 03 Amplify, 04 ExportMP3, 05 -END- It is pointless running both Normalize and Amplify one after the other. Generally you should just us Normalize. Both of these effects are very closely related. Both effects adjust the level of the audio, but they do it in slightly dif...

Re: Silent Subliminal Recording

You didn't say what you did to make the recordings "subliminal". He didn't, but my guess is that he wants to emulate Lowry's silent subliminal presentation system (US Patent 5,159,703 October 27, 1992). http://www.google.co.uk/patents/US5159703 If that is what you are after Mike, then see...
