The Audacity 2.0.6 release notes say: OS X 10.10 Yosemite: Audacity 2.0.6 will not officially support OS X 10.10 Yosemite when released (in particular, Apple Audio Units may not open in Audacity). The issue with Apple Audio Units appears to be fixed for the next Audacity release. What problems are y...

Re: Gérer le volume de plusieurs pistes
Sorry, I do not speak French.
To reduce the level of all tracks:
1) Select all tracks (Ctrl+A)
2) Apply the "Amplify" effect and enter a negative amount for the "Amplification (dB)" setting. (http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/amplify.html)

Re: Anolog - digital conversion process
surely the information distinguishing the sound of a trombone from that of a timpani or a snare from a snore in the audience must be stored somewhere in the sound file It's a very clever trick performed by your brain. "Sound" is just "vibration" - typically, "vibrations in ...

Re: connected keyboard with laptop vista
Oh that's good - but where are the drivers They should be included with the product. Behringer products that I've purchased have been good about including details of necessary driver downloads/installs. For the UMC 202, the drivers are also available by clicking on the "downloads" link fr...

Re: connected keyboard with laptop vista
There is a chance that drivers will be ASIO only (as seems to be the case with the Behringer USB Guitar Link). If so, Audacity won't see the device. In that case you may need to uninstall the drivers and see if it works with the basic Windows drivers. The readme file in the driver download says tha...

Re: Export options visibility
If possible I would hide the "Current settings:" text and the "Settings..." button when selecting WAV or AIFF. Why don't we allow selecting the bit format / encoding option for WAV files? That is, instead of having "WAV (Microsoft) signed 16 bit PCM" as the default, ha...
