How reliable is the "Alt" key for use as a modifier? Do Macs have an "Alt" key or something equivalent? I'm thinking, for both clips and labels, depending on what sort of track has focus: Tab / Shift+Tab Selects the the next / previous label or clip for editing. Label tracks curr...

Re: Filetype issue; Broadcast Wav, RF64 (ProTools and WavLab
The 4 GB size limit is a consequence of 32 bit header information. At 4 GB, 32 bit runs out of numbers needed to keep track of all of the samples - basically it is an addressing problem. If a WAV file has 64 bit headers, it can be very much longer than 4 GB. Although Audacity does not fully support ...

Most functions are disabled while playing, recording, or paused.
Ensure that playback is "stopped" (not just paused) before trying to edit.

Please do not post multiple, illegible and/or meaningless posts. It only wastes our time and delays us from providing support for users. To prevent the Metadata Editor from opening on each export, disable it in Preferences. See here in the manual for more details: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/ma...

Re: Stopping Recording and Starting again on same track
"Pause / Unpause" is often the easiest (shortcut: "P" key).
You can also use "Transport menu > Append Record" (shift+R) to continue after stopping.

Connect the outputs of the USB interface to the "2-Track Inputs".
The "2-TR TO CTRL ROOM/PHONES" button should be down.
See pages 7 and 8 of the Xenyx 802 user manual for pictures.
