Re: Clean up old computer audio cassette

It will be noted in the manual for the next Audacity release that Filter Curve EQ supports a maximum of 200 control points.

Re: Clean up old computer audio cassette

The limit is 200 points ("f0 v0" to "f199 v199").

There really should be a warning or error message when attempting to import more than 200 points, so I'll log that as a bug.

When I restart the timer recording, I would like to append the new audio
to the same track
With Audacity 2.4.2 you will need to save the project before you can run Timer Record again.
After saving the project, click on the track, then Timer Record will append to that track.

Audacity on my phone?
Is there an app for that?
Not yet.

can you offer suggestions on an app for me.
I don't personally have any recommendations, but perhaps you could just search for "audio recorder" in the App Store.

Got it. I reduced the number of points to something more reasonable. Now it loads fully.
So there's a limit to the maximum number of points? (I've not tested that)
Do you know (approximately) what that limit is?

I'm trying to understand exactly what you are trying to do. I got lost at: "and then splitting the Stereo to Mono"
Why did you do that?

Which exact version of Audacity? (look in: "Help menu > About Audacity") Are you using the "Envelope Tool" or the "Multi-Tool"? (see: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tools_toolbar.html) Is playback "stopped" (It must be "stopped" not playing or p...

This problem might be something to do with soundcard drivers since it also seems to affect wavepad
That sounds possible.

If you're using the HP's built-in sound card, check on the HP website that you have the latest drivers for Windows 10.
