Re: How do I change BIT RATE to at least 192

Re: it starts playing when i add markers

I can live with that as an interim measure until we get a good Jog/Scrub solution. I would quite strongly prefer that Ctrl+Click is confined to audio tracks and not the entire Track window. Re: Warning - Opening old project file

and if I continue to open the project this is the result: Audacity 2.0.6 has opened the project correctly. That image shows that the audio in the project is hitting 0 dB and so will probably be distorted. You can turn off the red "clip indicators" in the View menu. See: http://manual.auda...

Re: CD file size doesn't match program time

You will notice that the file size is 812,122,112 bytes To convert bytes to kB, divide by 1024 = 793088 kB Assuming 44100 Hz, 16 bit stereo, to convert from bytes to minutes, divide by 10584000 = 76.73 From the length and file size, all of those files appear to be 44100Hz 16bit stereo. I'm not very...

You can get it here: http://audacityteam.org/download/windows As you version is so old, I would suggest that you uninstall the old versi...

Hey, you in the corner with dust in your eyes...
Sorry to keep harping on about this, but could you post a similar test recording with the mic recording level set to 100%.
If necessary, eat some chocolate first - it won't improve the recording, but it might cheer you up ;)

Re: CD file size doesn't match program time

In addition to comments from DVDdoug, there is a difference between "data capacity" (number of bytes of data that can be stored) and "audio capacity" (number of minutes+seconds of audio that can be stored), due to audio CDs using some of the available space for the table of conte...
