I've downloaded and properly installed the Limiter I would not recommend the LADSPA "Hard Limiter" unless you intend to create distortion. As a (non-distorting) peal limiter effect the "Limiter (2)" plugin is much better. It may be downloaded here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/w...

So Audacity doesn't support VST Audacity does not support VSTi (VST instruments ). Many VST effects work, though Audacity does not support MIDI features in VST effects.
