I'm not sure exactly what you are doing. Re: Regular Interval Labels - By Sample Length?
Audacity tends to slow down quite badly if there are a vast number of labels, so you will probably need to work in sections rather than all in one go. I'd guess that you should be OK with with 1000 labels, so this code sets a limit of 1000 labels (line 3). This code can be run in the Nyquist prompt....

Re: Omnidirectional Stereo & Unidirectional Stereo?
"Unidirectional" is possibly a bit misleading. It does not really mean "one direction" (which the word implies) but just that it will pick up more from the "front" than from the "back", so you would position it so that it is pointing in the general direction o...

Re: Audacity & Sound Issue
Please state the exact three-section version of Audacity from "Help > About Audacity". Check in the device toolbar that you have selected the device that you want to record from. The "host" setting should normally be "MME" unless you want to record sounds that are playi...
Re: Latency
It probably has nothing to do with "latency". The most likely cause is that you have "Windows Sound Enhancements" enabled. (See link posted by DVDdug)

Re: It play 4 min. in 10 seconds.
If you have an "audio selection", then only that selected region will play (see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/au ... ction.html)
To play all of the track, ensure that either all of the track is selected, or none of the track is selected.

Re: Omnidirectional Stereo & Unidirectional Stereo?
Unless anyone here has both models (very unlikely) you are unlikely to get much help here. As your question is about Tascam products rather than about Audacity, you would probably do better to ask Tascam for their advice. The DR-03 is a discontinued model and has been replaced by the DR-05, which is...

Re: Quality issue with new Blue Yeti and Audacity
The recording level is way too low.sugarcrushed wrote:Here is a short sample of raw audio
How much higher can you turn up the level on the mic?
24 dB of noise removal is excessive for good quality audio - hopefully when the recording level is (much) higher you will not need so much noise removal.
