Re: New logo
That logo would look more pro if you would try to get rid of the bevels and glossyness. Make the logo flat and simple, its too overdone with fx now. Please show us. Feel free to post your logo idea(s) and I'll link them into the logo gallery for consideration when Audacity decides to update the log...

Re: ~8h recording after export shows/plays only 1h19m
I thought Broadcast WAV wouldn't go over 4GB, either Yes that's true, but BWF can get round that by linking the data across several files. This means that even 32 bit apps with no special support for the format (just normal WAV file support) can still play each of the linked files in full. An appli...

Start from scratch I think - then we can take baby steps first while you get the hang of it.Steve Bender wrote: Or start something from scratch?
I've moved this to the Nyquist board - hopefully you will find it

Re: Suggestions on setting up a compressor &/or brick wall f
Is "the damage done" to the recording or to the UCA 202 &/or sound card or to the computer? To the recording. That's another good thing to know. I was hoping to just be able to plug in and adjust things in Audacity without having to bother any of the settings that the choir uses. Some...

Re: Could use some tips/advice on my track
I've never been very keen on GVerb - I don't think the original author of that effect ever intended it to be an end-user effect but rather for it to be a building block for developers to create more sophisticated reverb effects. As it turned out, it was the only reverb effect available in Audacity f...

That's not turned out bad has it. Congratulations. You know that we have an Audacity Sound Cloud group? You are very welcome to share your Audacity creations. http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=253761#p253761 There's something a bit weird going on with the reverb I think, but I can't quit...

Re: Customizable/Combined Delay + Volume + Panning Effect
I see that the “Bouncing Ball Delay with Panning” and “Delay with Stereo Flip” plugins address some of these things, but they’re not customizable in the way that I want. What do you mean they're not customisable? They are Nyquist plugins, of course you can customise them - you just need to learn a ...

OK, so the harmonic enhancer works, and you have added 4 new controls. Do you want those controls to do something?

Re: Suggestions on setting up a compressor &/or brick wall f
I'm thinking that perhaps I could set up one of the compression plug-ins or built-ins that come with Audacity that would allow me to set it for the main mic but keep it from clipping if the vocalists have a significantly higher sound level. That won't work. To use a compressor / limiter in that way...
