Re: Labels to metadata
You mean linked streams in a single OGG/OPUS file? Yes. For example, you could have an album as one file, but each track on the album is a separate stream with its own metadata, so that when played in a suitable media player, the appropriate track information would be displayed for the current song.

Re: Labels to metadata
Yes. It would be an alternative (that some think would be more convenient) to adding metadata for each track into Metadata Editor. The user could then hide Metadata Editor even for compilation albums. I can see how that could be much more convenient when using Export Multiple. A further use could b...

Re: I'm getting "stereo" reverb and want none.
Do you also get the "reverb" effect if you play that file in other programs on that computer?terskelton wrote:I also discoved that recording on another digital recorder and importing that recording as a digital file into Audacity also created the "reverb" upon playback.

Re: Recording Question
Connect the USB device before launching Audacity.
Look in the Windows Sound Control Panel to ensure that Windows has recognised the USB device.
Open Audacity.
In the device toolbar select the USB device as the recording input, and your normal sound card as the playback device.

Re: Macros consisting of existing Audacity shortcuts
Ctrl+D (or Edit > Duplicate) > top Track Drop Down > Left Channel > bottom Track Drop Down > Right Channel > Make Stereo Track. Again, why I do this isn't important. I understand that even though it's now stereo, it's still mono. No really, I know this. It is for the purpose of creating ringtones f...

We would actually prefer not to have the moderation period at all, but thanks to those that abuse forums it is necessary. I would suggest that you remove moderation after a reasonable period. 90 days, perhaps? You'd be surprised. I've deleted spam messages from accounts that have been opened 12 mont...

Labels to metadata
This is more a question than a feature request (at the moment). There is a feature request listed on the wiki: Labels include metadata (4 votes) - not a request for cue sheet support, instead this gives a way in compilation albums to pass other than track Title and Track Number to Metadata Editor Do...

Re: Db(A), Db(C) equalizations should not miss in stock auda
except one who says it would make the plot "look more like it would be heard". That seems an odd thing to say, since you know exactly what it sounds like by playing it :? Also, that would only be the case (approximately) when listening to low level noise, and playing it at low level (whic...
