Re: ISRC codes - How to?

Re: Compression Flaring
Chris's Dynamic Compressor is not part of the official Audacity release and is not made by the Audacity team, so we can only offer limited support for it. Try raising the "floor" level a bit and see if that helps. The current version of Audacity is 2.1.0 and is available here: http://web.a...

Re: IRSC codes - How to?
I read in the old thread that the CD burner software may take care of it. Adding ISRC code to a CD is done by the CD pressing company. In most cases you just give them the codes and they do the rest. As it says in the FAQ of the ISRC website, the data is encoded in the disc subcode (Q channel), so ...

Re: HELP! Audacity Spec-Setting Questions VO Recording
For recording, use the default "Quality" settings as shown here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/quality_preferences.html Set the number of channels to "1 channel (mono)" in the device toolbar . When you have finished recording and editing, select the entire track and apply ...

Re: Limiter
The useful feature of Amplify is you don't have to adjust it in this instance and it resets every time, so there's no chance of accidental odd results. The most useful feature of Amplify is that it amplifies . I agree that the "auto gain" feature is also very useful, but the Audacity/Nyqu...
