Re: What happened to the Audacity Daily Build?
Although that PPA is called "ppa:audacity-team/daily", it is not actually provided by the Audacity team. It is provided by the package maintainer of Audacity in Ubuntu (who is also in the Audacity development team, though he has not been active in the Audacity development team for quite a ...

Are you using a USB turntable?
Are you using the current 2.1.0 version of Audacity? (look in "Audacity from Help > About Audacity" for the exact version number)
Which version of Windows are you using?

Re: Mixing multiple tracks for export multiple
Do you really need to have a separate label track for each audio track? What does that give you that you can't achieve with one label track?

Re: WAV to .MP2 quality
I was wondering how the quality of .MP2 compares to WAV or MP3? WAV is a "lossless" format whereas MP2 and MP3 are lossy formats. Encoding to a lossy format always discards some of the audio information, whereas encoding to a lossless format does not. If the bit-rate of the lossy format i...

Re: How fix vertical scale on Spectrum plot for different so
The vertical axis scales changes between sounds, is it possible to fix the scale? Unfortunately it is not currently possible to do that. The next version of Audacity allows the scale to be adjusted, but not fixed. A future version may allow the scale to be fixed. Is there a way to display the sound...

Re: Phase cancellation works, and then it doesn't...
One of the problems with lossy formats is that they do not maintain the phase of the original sound. If you can't find a lossless version then there may be no way to solve the problem, though you could try Robert's new "vocal reduction" (vocalrediso.ny) plug-in which is not dependent on ph...

Re: Microphone Signal
The AT4040 is a mono microphone.
Nothing wrong with your set-up except that you should be recording in mono.
It's a very bad idea to post your email address on an open forum as it is likely to attract a lot of spam, so I've removed your email address from your post.

Re: My audio sample
There's no indication to me that such a small document would need to be zipped at all so perhaps I don't even have the right file--maybe this is the documentation, not the program. It sounds like you have the right file, but the file is not a "program". The file is just a list of settings...
