No, not solved. Take a look around the forum - there's still the mishmash of icons that I threw together.

Re: Can't repeat 1 times on Audacity 2.1.1

This does raise the question, (and since this needs to be fixed I think it's a good time to address this question), should "Number of times to repeat" mean: a) the number of additional repeats b) the total number of repeats. In other words, if you select some audio and set the "Number...

Re: Link Latency preferences with Hosts

Unless you are overdubbing the latency correction does not matter.
When you are overdubbing, which host do you use?

Re: Advice sought; EQ following speed conversion of tape

I presume that these are old tapes, so the sound will have deteriorated to some extent, so the "correct" NAB Eq will probably not be the optimal Eq any more. Better to Eq by ear (if it needs Eq at all).

Re: Can't repeat 1 times on Audacity 2.1.1

It's a bug. I thought that this had been fixed several weeks ago, but apparently not. The workaround is to copy and paste for a single repeat rather than use the Repeat effect. Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V to paste. The quickest way to copy and paste in your example is: 1) Ctrl+C 2) Set "Length"...

Re: mp4 files?

The red lines indicate that the waveform touches 0 dB at those points and "may" be clipped.
When there are just occasional thin red lines (as in your picture) it is usually nothing to worry about.

Re: Apply several different filters successively

In principle, filters have 2 or 3 arguments. In what order is it necessary to place the values of the arguments? For most filters, the signal (sound) that the filter is applied to is the first argument. The correct order of the arguments can be found in the Nyquist manual. Look up the name of the f...

Re: Recording

If all of the files are in the same directory, then you can select multiple files at the same time. The files will be imported as tracks one below the other.

Re: mp4 files?

Why should anyone one this forum be bothered to help you if you cannot be bothered to provide clear answers to direct questions? Look in "Help > About Audacity". That will tell you the actual version number, then you can tell us the actual version number Right click on the file and select ...

Re: Help In Selecting Input Source.

The USB port on a Yamaha PSR E-413 is for transferring song data and MIDI data, not for audio. Audacity records audio . To record the keyboard in Audacity you will need to connect the headphone output to a sound card that has line level or instrument level inputs ( not a microphone input). To be abl...
