I guess there must be something a bit different between those AAC files and "normal" AAC files that open in Audacity. :? If you can open those files in VLC, then you could use VLC to decode them into standard WAV files, and then open the WAV files in Audacity. Also, "Foobar 2000"...

Is the problem with "one" file that was recorded with your DAB Player software, or is it a problem with "all" files that you record with that software?

If you are using the same version of Audacity on both machines, and have all of the necessary effects installed, then you should be able to just copy over the chain .txt files from the "Chains" folder.

Spotlight can't find it, locate can't find it and I can't find it if I look in I'm guessing that OS X is hiding it from you, but I don't use OS X so that's just a blind guess ;) Could it be that case sensitive vs. case insensitive is rearing it's ugly head again? Try deleting pluginregistry.cfg and pluginsettings.cfg as well. That will cause the effects to be re-registered and should avoid conflicts with any previous version that you may have had installed.cyrano wrote:I'm gonna remove the .cfg and see if the button is still there. I'll be back...
