Re: Creating a Chain with Regular Interval Labels & 2x Volum
By "2 x volume" I presume that you mean "double the amplitude". To double the amplitude, amplify by +6 dB. Chains do not currently support "Analyze" type plug-ins, only "Effect" plug-ins. Regular Interval Labels is an Analyze type plug-in. It may be possible t...

Re: ReplayGain
What actual "reference level" are you referring to? If I remember correctly (and I wrote that plug-in a long time ago), I was referring to this: http://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title=ReplayGain_1.0_specification#Reference_level Note that I would still consider this plug-in to be &quo...

Re: Debug report when creating new chain
Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong or is this a general bug with Audacity It's a bug but not a "general bug". It's a bug in the Equalization effect. it should be fixed in the next Audacity release. If you really must have the Equalization effect in a chain and can't wait for A...

Re: getting quality mp3's
Rather than recording the MP3s, Import them directly into Audacity ("File menu > Import > Audio"). I understand every time I export the mp3 are being re encoded. is that right. Yes. To minimise the loss of sound quality, use a high bit-rate when you export. Note that to export as MP3 you n...
