Re: BUG. "Apply Chain" doesn't work with "Silence"

I notice that recalling a saved User Preset in a generator does not change the duration controls in the effect. If it did, that "might" provide a way for a generator to specify a duration in a Chain. There would still be a problem that there is currently no way for the Chain to know "...

Re: MAGINON USB Cassette Converter ... Stopping problem

When I go to replay the recorded sound I hear it OK up to the point of where the Audacity display "graph chart" ceased and just silence thereafter. Do you mean that the blue wiggly "waveform" (shown as number 12 here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/index.html#reference) stops ...

Re: Exporting 32 bit float files: dither or not?

See here for how to split a stereo track: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/sp ... racks.html

Split the stereo track into two mono tracks as described in that article, then click on the [X] in the top left corner of the track that you want to delete.

Re: Can someone tell me what the heck this is!?

A bit off-topic, but rather than using fake Windows 7, have you considered using (genuine) Linux? There are many excellent versions ("distributions") that are free (for example "Linux Mint" is frequently recommended for new Linux users).

Re: Can someone tell me what the heck this is!?

Difficult to tell for certain just from the sound, but it sounds to me like "skipping". See: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... html#skips
