Re: flac 1.3.1 + audacity 2.1.1
What version of Flac is your build of Audacity currently using? Do you really need to use an updated version?

Re: Trying to record from another DAW to Audacity..?!?
Hi Steve, Its just a personal preference! Its a way I can quickly capture little ideas without too much clicking.. (and maybe elaborate on them or discard them) I like the way it feels a bit like having a tape player I am a music artist and It is my preferred canvas! (I realize about the loss of qu...

Re: Music Mix
How can I realize that in audacity? I think that using Audacity is the least of your problems. 2000 files of 10 to 15 seconds each comes to between 5 hours 33 minutes and 8 hours 20 minutes. Re: Zoom Normal (Cmd+2) cursor position
... what behaviour for Zoom Normal would we expect/like when a region is selected rather than a point cursor? While playback is stopped, the playback cursor is at the start of the selection. During play, record or pause, the playback cursor can be anywhere. ... what do we do when the currently sele...

Re: Selecting Jack input
Ideally, we would just connect Input 7 of the sound card to Input 1 of Audacity, and Input 8 of the sound card to Input 2 of Audacity, then just leave it like that. Unfortunately, that does not work because Audacity creates new input and output ports when it needs them, then closes the ports "o...

Re: Zoom Normal (Cmd+2) cursor position
I've noted these two requests, but Zoom Normal could not leave the cursor horizontally where it was for example if you were zoomed in at less than 8 or 10 seconds into the track, unless we were to scroll the track to show white space before zero. Even enabling the Tracks Preference "Enable scr...

Re: Trying to record from another DAW to Audacity..?!?
Out of interest, what is the benefit of recording Reaper with Audacity compared to exporting from Reaper and importing into Audacity?
