Re: Limitations via effects

9999hz on tremolo with a 50% wet level at a saw wave... and this would be a form of very smooth distortion with an added extratone-esque like sound... At such a high frequency it's really not a "tremolo" effect any more, but rather an "Amplitude Modulation (AM)" effect. There ar...

Re: Tone Generators: Siren

I got stuck trying to make the phaser/piercer/hyperyelp tone, as it didn't sound quite right when I adjusted the cycle length to the shortest it could go. It seems I can't go anywhere below 0.100. What is the ;control for the cycle length? See here for what the numbers at the end of that line mean:...

Re: Zoom Normal (Cmd+2) cursor position

Re: Allow Chains to continue after failure

Not a general solution, but in the case of Nyquist plug-ins it is possible to suppress error messages in the plug-in code. The best way to do that is to return "NIL" on error. The downside is that there is no indication that it has failed.

Re: Allow Chains to continue after failure

Allow Chains to optionally continue processing the next file after processing a file fails. I think that if we did that, then errors would need to be logged and a clear message presented to the user on completion of the batch informing them of which files were processed successfully. which files fa...

Re: Using Zoom R8 as an interface to Audacity

Check that you don't have "Sound Activated Recording" selected in the Transport menu (near the bottom).

Please post the information from "Help menu > Audio device info"
