My guess is that the problem is the path name to the Nyquist source files on your computer includes Unicode characters. The Nyquist programming language is not Unicode aware, so any path names that include characters that cannot be converted to ASCII are invalid. From the documentation (http://wiki....

Try installing Audacity to "C:\Audacity\". Do Nyquist plug-ins work if you do that?

Let me put it another way. Why do you need to add ID3 tags for ReplayGain? MP3 format already has a built-in mechanism for controlling the playback level - that is what MP3Gain uses by default.

WASAPI "should" have lower latency than either MME or Direct Sound. As I understand it, support for "recording what is playing on your computer" is gradually being phased out from MME. Whether it is available or not depends on the sound card drivers. "WASAPI loopback" s...
