Re: Metadata Editor -- Copy "Title" into "Album"

No it doesn't work. Which version of Audacity / Mac Os X are you using? Has it ever worked on any version of Mac OS X / Audacity? WDL has more or less the same goal als PortAudio: cross platform development of audio apps. It parts from a different perspective: being very close to the Windows API, i...

Re: burn cd with music/narration/special effects

Audacity does not burn CDs. You need a CD burning program to do that, such as CDburnerXP, or Nero, or even iTunes.

Re: Can't find option Chordfinder

Audacity has never shipped a "Chordfinder". Perhaps it was an effect that was already on your system (installed with something else). If it is on your system, Audacity may list it in "manage effects", from where you should be able to enable it. See: http://manual.audacityteam.org...

Re: Metadata Editor -- Copy "Title" into "Album"

I wonder how useful that is given nobody knows it's there. "All" metadata editors have a Genre list. Did you not notice the "dropdown list arrow" when you selected the Genre cell? Click on THIS_TEXT. Did it become selected? Double click on THIS_TEXT. Did it become selected? Trip...

Re: tachometer analysis via nyquist

How are you getting on with this? I had a play while my computer was busy doing another task, and wrote a bit more code that may have some useful features for you: The code: ;; Looks for the signal crossing this amplitude value. ;; Increase if necessary to avoid false triggers (setf v-offset 0.05) ;...

Re: Metadata Editor -- Copy "Title" into "Album"

The trick with the metadata editor is that you have to click twice in a field to actually select the text The Metadata window is basically a table, with input controls embedded in each cell. Most of the controls are plain "text input" controls, but there are also a multi-choice control (&...

Yes, I think that should work. Note that "Software Playthrough" must be OFF (not selected) in the Audacity Transport menu.
