Re: Audacity 2.1.1 fails to import/export projects and wav/m
1) The project never can be opened again in Audacity. The SW tells me everytime that "XYZ.aup is an Audacity Project file. Use the File > Open command..." (which is exactly what I do!!!) The menus in Audacity have been rearranged over the years. Please double check that you are using &quo...

Re: adding a control to reverb.

Re: RMS Normalize
How close is Make-ACX ? Apply all the filters and corrections needed to force a submission into ACX Compliance. I think that we've got most of the components now haven't we? DC Offset removal: check Rumble filter: check Noise Reduction: check Compression: check Equalization: check Low distortion pe...

Thanks for the info Trebor. I presume that these are all tried and tested (by you) on the current version of Audacity (2.1.1) in Windows?

Re: Automatic Repair for Cuts and Inserts
Selecting good edit points will usually make repairing the edit points unnecessary. "Good" edit points include: During silence (best) Immediately before a strong beat (for rhythmical music) At a zero crossing point (see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/edit_menu_find_zero_crossings.ht...

Re: Insert Something At Beginning of Audacity File
What is the "something" that you want to add to the beginning? If it is "silence" or a generated sound, then you may be a suitable plug-in that you could use in a Chain (http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/chains_for_batch_processing_and_effects_automation.html). If it's a recor...
