1) how big is the file that you are trying to send?
2) Does the WAV file play OK on your computer?
3) Do you have other problems sending emails?

OK, so you have a logitech wireless headset that is connected in some "wireless" way to your computer, and when you run Audacity the sound output stop from somewhere...

Welcome to the wonderful world of sound editing 
Typically, a 10 minute sound clip takes 100 minutes to edit, if you're good at it.

I'm not quite sure what your question is. With large projects, I prefer to work in sections of no more than about 30 minutes. I would then load all the "source files" for one "section" (where the final length will be perhaps 20 minutes), then edit the clips on multiple tracks. Wh...

From the Audacity "Help" menu, select "Audio device info", then copy ALL of the information from the pop-up message box and paste it into your reply.

The RME Hamerfall soundcards have hardware mixing, though I've never used one under Linux.
If I remember correctly, the old SoundBlaster AWE (10k1 / 10k2), but these are long obsolete - I'll dig my old one out when I get time and see if I can get it going
