Re: Workflow on mixing tracks
One thing that would be extremely helpful to me were the ability to enable/disable the pan (and gain) sliders for all tracks temporarily, a sort of bypass. On a hardware mixer there are often separate "main" and "monitor" mixes. We don't do that in Audacity because to do it prop...

Re: Workflow on mixing tracks
I think that we agree that all tracks should be selected that are send to the playback routine, but how to express that nicely? Yes, that's what I mean too. The solo button overrides the mute button when both are down on a track, so "playing tracks" are tracks that are not muted or are so...

Re: Workflow on mixing tracks
Edit->Select->In all audible Tracks. I presume that you mean "not muted" tracks (a track that contains silence or white-space in the selected region is not audible). The current behaviour is a bit strange in that the track Pan, Gain and amplitude envelopes are taken into account, but not ...

Re: Export Multiple and FFmpeg
I haven't added my OS information because I'm running Audacity on two different computers that run on two different operating systems – you may want to add an option for that, and in this case, the OS is 10.10.5). Probably not worth it for the few people that it affects. Just select the one that yo...

Re: Questions about 2.1.2
Yes, if there are P2s, at the top would be better, but let's hope it's not a list of P2s

I'm hoping that there aren't any P2s in the next release.Gale Andrews wrote: Would it be worth listing P2 separately?

Re: Can't edit just one track
I think that you may have made one stereo track rather than 2 mono tracks. Audacity has "screenshot tools" for taking a "selfie" http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/help_menu.html#tools Take as screenshot of the tracks and post it here so we can have a look. See here for how to ...

"All" Nyquist plug-ins currently have a Debug button at the moment. The Debug button will probably be removed at some point in the future.Gale Andrews wrote: Most Nyquist effects should have a Debug button.
