Yes i think that is quite likely, especially for the Nyquist code.

What format are the recordings and how long is each recording?

Re: Error MSB3721 when building Audacity 2.1.2 for Windows

Topics merged. Please don't post multiple topics about the same question.

I don't build on Windows, but I see in the "compile.txt" file /win/ folder of the source code, that it says that "Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 C++" is required.

Re: Selections, Time Shfit Tool, and Label Tracks

Spacebar is the standard "start / stop" key in virtually all recording software, I doubt that will be "fixed". Audacity does of course allow you to change the default key bindings. Personally I just avoid pressing the stop key while recording ;)

Re: AGC - Automatic Gain Control

Nice :) You've correctly identified where the slowdown occurs, and fixed it. In a "DO" statement, the return value is optional. In line 73: ((>= start duration) T) the "T" is superfluous. You can use: ((>= start duration)) Generally it's better to avoid single character names for...

Re: Audio experiment

I could speed that audio up but even if I change the pitch, the audio sounds like it's sped up still. Of course it will, because it IS sped up. Even if we have an effect that can speed up sound "perfectly" without changing the pitch - imagine if we have a recording of someone talking - sp...

Re: 2.1.2 weirdness with spectral selection

You are in effect turning spectral selection on and off with that draw tool or with the suggested spectral selection tool. No. I'm suggesting that either the Draw tool or a new "Spectral Selection" tool be the tool for drawing a spectral selection in a spectrogram view, rather than repurp...

Re: 2.1.2 weirdness with spectral selection

And Steve has the idea of Draw Tool turning Spectral Selection on when in a Spectrogram, if I understand correctly. And this is precisely what I have always been strongly against. ...<snip>... My key reason for not always forcing the availability of Spectral Selection in any Spectrogram view is tha...

Re: Recording from a Mulit-Input Interface

Audacity does not (yet) have "channel mapping", so to record channels 3 and 4 (with Audacity) you need to record channels 1, 2, 3 and 4, then delete channels 1 and 2. I don't know of any way to perform channel mapping for recording using the standard Mac tools (perhaps someone else might)....
