Re: new computer: Audacity adds a high-pitch noise to playb
That was a recording of a bass phrase wav file being played back by Audacity on my new computer. OK, but where is the original bass phrase wav file? As Gale wrote, Audacity does not do real-time effects, so we're trying to work out where the "high pitch noise" that you are describing is c...

Re: Issues with VSTs 3-6-16

Re: error message with noise reduction
The Noise Reduction effect is a 2 step effect. First you create a "profile" of the noise, then you run the effect a second time to remove sound that matches the profile. For best results the noise profile should be taken from a "silent" (noise only) part of the track that you wis...

Re: Strange sound when recording
Your recordings are extraordinarily quiet just before the 'clunk'. Much quieter than I would expect from the set-up that you describe. I think there must be some sort of "noise reduction" effect happening, and the "clunk" is probably caused by that effect kicking in. Look again a...

Re: YouTube -> phone?
I imagine that you need to convert the tune to a format that is supported by your 'phone. Probably best if you do some combination of the following: Look in your 'phone manual for what ringtone formats are supported and how to get ringtones into your 'phone. Search the Internet for instructions or v...
