Re: Recovery with multiple files
I presume that you found the relevant page in the manual? http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/recovering_crashes_manually.html Personally I never bother with manual crash recovery - if the automatic crash recovery fails then the chances of full recovery manually are fairly poor, so I just write it ...

Re: Sync Locked Label track not working with generate Silenc
Yes it's a bug.Welred wrote: when I use the Generate Silence feature, the labels do not move with the associated audio, so they are no longer useful.
Here's a workaround:
- Generate silence

Re: Audio activated recording/mouth clicks

It's very unlikely that you will be able to set it accurately enough to do what you want without also cutting off bits of words. why hasn't anyone created any software to get rid of mouth clicks and mouth noises? Th...

Re: Recording limit
Check that you have not accidentally enabled "Sound Activated Recording". The option should be "not selected" in the Transport menu. If there is a selection in another track, then recording stops at the end of the selection. To ensure there is no selection, click the rewind butto...

Re: Disable Gain and Pan sliders
If the Mute/Solo buttons were moved above the Track Info, so they were the last control to disappear when making the track less tall, would many people want to change that? I guess that someone somewhere has a workflow that requires being able to see the Track Info even when tracks are smaller than...

Re: Disable Gain and Pan sliders
I was thinking of it applying to all tracks in the current project.Gale Andrews wrote:Presumably if the disable option was in the Tracks Menu, it would apply to selected tracks?
If we want "per track" options, then they would go in the Track dropdown menu.

Re: Question OGG to FLAC
I dont' understand why If I only change the compression method, so from OGG(VORBIS) to FLAC, but datas are less than the original CD, files becomes huge. As you are aware, CD audio uses a huge amount of digital data to represent that analog audio. To be precise, CD audio uses 1411200 bits of data f...
