I added the vote for "Cover Art".
The other features mentioned here relate broadly to ITU R-128, namely:
* Loudness measurement (LUFS)
* Loudness normalizing
* "True Peak" measurement

Virus Total returns 2 virus warnings
Thanks for the contribution uvhwpevx but I've had to remove the attachment as the exe file within the rar package was flagged by Virus Total as unsafe: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/669f570c206727620d045a5aa2afb79518d65bca78a81dbb12d65dea8ba09676/analysis/1462015088/ Also, as there are already ...

Re: Is there way to use RAM instead of disk?
You could create a RAM disk , but I wouldn't recommend it. 4 GB free disk space is way too low and your computer is at risk of crashing at any moment. On Windows it is generally recommended to have at least 10% free disk space at all times so that Windows can perform its background tasks. You should...

Re: can I edit one channel in a stereo track?
To work on one track of a stereo pair you will need to split the track into separate Left and Right tracks. See: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/spli ... racks.html

Re: DLL libraries for basic functions
Audacity doesn't work like that. To be able to use parts of the Audacity code in another application, you will need to be able to use C++.
The source code for Audacity is here: https://github.com/audacity/audacity

Re: Install Instructons for LinumMint LMDE2 (Debian)
How should I go about upgrading to the current Version? The easiest way is to just keep Mint up to date, and wait. Ubuntu has recently updated their version of Audacity, so mint should not be far behind. There 'could' be problems with Audacity 2.0.6 as it may have been built with the wrong version ...

Re: Sternberg UR44 and Audacity
It's true. Audacity only supports one channel of sound. Wrong word koz. Audacity only supports recording or playing back from one device at a time. For recording, Audacity supports as many channels as the device drivers make available. For playback, Audacity support up to 2 channels (mono or stereo).

The developer of that code is "Paul Licamelli". Try asking on the developer's mailing list: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/lis ... city-develrachalmers wrote:Any developers working in this area ?
I'm a little stuck on Audacity/MemoryX.h

Re: ver. 2.1.2 + Windows 10 pro: bad change bpm
That is the " Change Tempo " effect. (the blue text is a link). The Change Tempo effect is quick, but sometimes causes an echoey effect. This is a limitation of the Change Tempo effect and it has always had this problem, though it is not always noticeable. The " Sliding Time Scale / P...
