Most functions, including effects, are greyed out during play, record and pause. To enable editing and applying effects, playback must be stopped (click the "Stop" button).

It could be due to "read" errors. Where is the file that you are having problems with? Is it on your main hard drive, a SSD, a memory stick, a network drive...? Or it could be due to "write" problems. When you import a file, Audacity copies the data to its "temp" folder...

I've gave LANDR a test drive a few months ago. While it could be useful for bands / musicians that want some quick and inexpensive polish to a clean and well balanced recording without needing to know about the intricacies of compression, equalization and so on, I wouldn't personally describe it as ...

I;m not having any problem with noise floor, passes ACX check every time, RMS can be an issue, but one or two attempts with the W1 limiter takes care of that. Additionally, my tracks sound good, Sounds like you've got it licked. Have you tried sending a sample submission to ACX for them to review? ...
