Re: D R A F T
one reply suggested that I should look for an OS that works; I thought El Capitan worked. Not really I serious reply imo. El Capitan is not my favourite OS, and all OSs have their quirks, but I'd certainly say "it works". There is however a serious point in this that some OSs (and probabl...

No idea. I've just tested saving a draft and it works for me. Perhaps a glitch in the forum software, but I can't reproduce the problem.garygrover wrote: why did it submit the post rather than saving it as a draft?

Re: internal recording
Not without additional software. Windows does not provide a way to record some sounds that are playing and not others - it's an all or nothing deal. It 'may' be possible (I don't use Windows so I've not tried) to do what you want with the aid of "Voicemeeter" or similar software (http://vb...

Re: How to know the starting time of the recording data?

In the current release version of Audacity you have to do that manually. In the next release version there will be a setting in Preferences to customise the de...

I ended up fixing it myself. The task can now be achieved with shift+click in the Timeline.jimbo1qaz wrote:This is actually a pretty important issue for me. Has anyone made progress towards fixing it?

Re: Record a stereo signal
Check in the Windows Sound Control Panel that Windows is set to record 2 channel stereo from the device. Then Launch Audacity and ensure that Audacity is set to record 2 channel stereo in the device toolbar.
