Look in Audacity Preferences (under the Audacity Menu). In the "Effects" section, are "Nyquist" effects enabled?

You can "manage" them, you just can't "use" them unless there is something to use them on. If you disable them in the plug-in manager then they don't show up at all in the Analyze menu.

Same on all platforms because there's nothing to analyze.

Have a look in the Effect menu. Is "Adjustable Fade" listed?

To make full use of Tallenthack you'd really need to use a different host program because Audacity does not support the MIDI features.

Does it give any clues in "Help > Show Log"?
Have you tried "Autotalent"? Last time I tried, that worked in Audacity.
