The solution to that problem was disabling the Audio Units plugins, but Audacity doesn't have the option to disable those anymore. Audio Units plug-ins are specific to Mac OS X, so that option is not available on Windows or Linux. I'm running out of ideas. Have you tried disabling all effect types,...
