Re: Error Importing Audio from Video Files
Do you have any old files from OBS Studio that worked previously? Do they still work in Audacity?

Re: Recording Question- two mics and additional audio
What you can't do is to pause playback in Audacity while simultaneously continuing to record in Audacity (on one computer). I presume that you want to do this in "real-time" (all in "one take"). You could play a CD in a standalone CD player, via a mixer, with two microphones plug...

Re: Importing & Exporting Labels with Mac OS
The only problem is that there is no "batch import option" for importing label files into Audacity, which means I'm faced with importing about 80 labels files manually. Firstly, I'm impressed by your solution. Regarding "batch import": You can import multiple label files at the ...

Re: extreme feedback
I don't have two USB mics (I don't have any USB mics), so I tried aggregating a Behringer UCA 202 (stereo line-level USB interface) with the on-board sound card. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I was able to record 4 independent tracks. The OS X aggregation service "seems" t...

Re: Exporting files
What program are you using to make the CD? Has that program ever worked? (Audacity does not burn CDs)

Re: in Windows 10 JACKrouter device missing
As far as I'm aware, Windows 10 is not officially supported by Jack (until recently, the Jack website described the Windows port of Jack as "experimental"). For obvious reasons we are not able to officially support unofficial builds of Audacity (though we try to help where we can). Is ther...

Seriously though, check that "Software Playthrough" is off (Transport menu) and ensure that you have headphones (not speakers) set for playback.
Those are probably the two most likely causes, so best to check them first.

Re: Exporting for Mixing
It was done so that Tracks > Mix and Render did not add silence to clips that were offset from zero, in the absence of any way to select the region you want to render. Re: in Windows 10 JACKrouter device missing
Look in the "Host" (Hostitelsky pocitac) options to see if Jack is listed. Note that Audacity opens and closes its ports on demand (ports are opened when play/record is started, and closed when playback stops), so Audacity's ports are only visible while transport is active. Here is some in...
